Tequila

He pours for a sip
A glimmering gold I was enticed to drink
I took it short and quick
Its liquid has drowned me to the deep
It warmed my heart
I can’t believe it was euphoric

He held my hand in dreams
And kiss his love that’s sweet
Lost my heart to love that’s quick
I surrendered till I am weak
I was lost in that short drink
I can’t believe it was just a sip

That sip of tequila I did take
And I can't believe how it hurts
Silently, alone I wept.
